Access to Work can help you get or stay in work if you are 16 plus years old and have a physical or mental health condition or disability. The support you get will depend on your needs. Through Access to Work, you can apply for grants to help pay for practical support and other types of support. Hinkley Point C is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years. With over 8,000 people working across the project, offering a variety of apprenticeships’ including construction, engineering and business. We also have a catering and hospitality company called Somerset Larder, they manage the food facilities across the office blocks and site and our bus company: Somerset Passenger Solutions, that gets everyone to and from site safely. There are so many new and exciting opportunities within Hinkley Point C, with over 1,000 apprentices on the project. They also have taster days and tours for young people to experience.

They have openings throughout the year but I noted that the Level 3 apprenticeships in Mechatronics and Operations & Logistics are taking applications now.
